“Be anxious in nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ.” Philippians 4: 6-7

Sibling visit and Christmas Program
The kids were really missing their brother so we let them come visit him at the hospital. They also got to see the lighting of the hospital Christmas tree (& were chosen to help flip the switch) and an excerpt from the Nutcracker Ballet! Caleb has opened his eyes a couple of times, but not for long. When they touched his hand, he looked up and smiled!!!!! Such a special moment!!! My heart melted. He had a couple of seizures overnight and two today. Much less, and they are not surprised since he still has blood in his brain (they couldn't extract it all and over time his body will have to absorb it) & he just had brain surgery, so the irritation and inflammation will cause continued seizures for a while.

Hi Ashley and Zach- just want you to know that I continue to pray everyday for this precious little miracle. I love the photo of Caleb holding hands with his brothers! I saw you on the news last night- they showed the kids watching the Nutcracker performance. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as you go about this very difficult journey. I know in my heart that Caleb will be with you for GOOD one day- in his own home and own crib! Stay strong, my friend.
